About Eric

I am husband to Kitra (for 35 years in 2025), father to Brittany and Maddie, and grandfather to Hadley and Hudson.

I have an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Idaho, and while I did not pursue my dream of being a university professor, I did work at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories in Pullman, WA, for 26.5 years as an editor and manager before retiring early at the end of 2024.

For the past 15 years, I have produced the Longbox Review podcast, where I talk about comic books, my life, and, sometimes, Star Trek.

My wife and I are about to embark on a new journey together: moving to Vancouver, WA, to be closer to the grandkids and figure out what life is like together with no children to raise. It should be a fun exploration.
